Cockington Primary School

Year 2 enjoyed a trip to Dartmouth, where they learnt lots of interesting facts about Brunel and the invention of the steam train and railways.

Eden Park Primary School

Tadpoles Nursery have been enjoying the glorious weather in their outdoor space. The children used paintbrushes, salt and sand for their mark making creations.

Eggbuckland Vale Primary School

Year 1 started a planting project, which involves planting a pea in compost and water, then recording the changes in a weekly diary. The peas have already started to root and shoot!

Leigham Primary School

The Year 5/6 girls football team represented the school amazingly in a local cluster league event. Well done to girls on their superb teamwork!

Manadon Vale Primary School

As part of a Science Week celebration, Year 2 carried out experiments to test how fast their aeroplane designs could travel.

Preston Primary School

A group of Year 5/6 children visited South Devon College to explore marine engineering. They were tasked with designing their own boats which were judged on sturdiness, aesthetics and functionality.

Thornbury Primary School

The Reception class received a special visit from a Royal Marine. The children enjoyed asking lots of questions about the military and had the oppotunity to try on the camouflage uniform.

Widey Court Primary School

Well done to the Year 2 children who were selected to represent their school at a local athletics event, where they took part in running, sprint, throwing and long jump.
