Cockington Primary School

Well done to the Year 5/6 football teams who recently won three out of their four matches against other local primary schools. A special mention to the girls' team who are currently unbeaten in the league!

As part of their learning experience Jungle Rhythm, Year 5 have been exploring what deforestation and habitat destruction is, and how we can prevent it from happening.

Eggbuckland Vale Primary School

Foundation Stage were very excited to welcome a baby boy and his mummy into school. The children all sat beautifully, listening carefully to what is involved in taking care of a baby.

Year 5 had a visit from Space Odyssey for a planetarium presentation. Pupils ventured inside the space dome for an immersive learning experience of simulations and high-resolution images.

Leigham Primary School

Year 2 have been using watercolours to create a David McEown inspired piece of landscape art based on the water village, Kampong Ayer.

Year 4 have been learning about sound and how their ears work. An experiment was conducted to see how their ears can detect sounds coming from different directions, using an obstacle course, instruments, and blindfolds.

Widey Court Primary School

The MKC Heroes Club enjoyed an exciting visit to the Theatre Royal in Plymouth to watch the amazing production of Aladdin. This was a wonderful opportunity for our service children to come together to develop friendships and offer support to one another.

Pupils and staff recently bid farewell to their long serving lollipop man. After 15 years of keeping the school community safe, we hope that Pete will go on to enjoy a happy and restful retirement.
