Well done to Cockington Primary School who were awarded with Platinum OPAL status. OPAL is a scheme to improve outdoor play, inspiring children to use natural and manmade resources to enhance their playtime experiences.
Eden Park Primary School
Year 2 enjoyed a visit to Cockington Court in Torquay to experience art in the local community. The sculpture trail featured art pieces made from recycled materials which were inspired by a nautical or coastal theme.
Eggbuckland Vale Primary School
We were delighted to see so many families attend our MKC Heroes event, where the attendees joined in with spooky themed bingo and made trick or treat bags for Halloween. MKC Heroes is an organisation dedicated to supporting military families and bringing the Armed Forces community together.
Leigham Primary School
These staff members have completed their training to become Compassionate Friends, who will support children in school who have faced bereavement or life limiting illnesses in the family.
Manadon Vale Primary School
Year 2 are pleased to offer a new after school Reading Club, which is an opportunity for the children and their grown-ups to choose and read a book together and enjoy some refreshments.

The Reception classes were excited to invite their families into their classrooms for a tour of their learning environments. It was wonderful to hear the children talking with such positivity and pride about their new school.

The Reception classes have been exploring measurement, with a fun activity using drainpipes and toy cars to measure how far they travel.
